So I bought Christina Perri A Thousand Years at the store the other day. A good friend of mine told me that I needed to give it a listen. I didn’t really know what to expect since I haven’t really heard of this girl before. But after I put the album in my CD player, after the first three songs I liked it right away! Her vocals are so good, it actaully reminds me of a young Mariah Carey in some ways. But they are better than that. It has some of that old twenties era type of music going on in it too. This is an album that the whole family can enjoy. Surprisingly my grandma really liked it a lot. She even went as far as buying an album for herself! So if my grandma is listening to this, I would think that makes for a pretty good record. So go ahead and give her a listen. I think you will like what you hear!
I Wonder What to Do
Getting older means no more trick or treating, and I honestly do not want to be spending money on the little kids who come and beg for candy, and then do not appreciate it when you do not give them a handful. I am sorry, but I am too young to be a grandmother passing out candy, and I am too old to actually go get some, so I am going to go look for Halloween parties San Diego will have available.
